Hello!

Welcome to my website! My name is Tessa, but prefer to go by Tess. Some things about me are: I am a natural born redhead, a Scorpio through and through and have been an artist since the very beginning of my existence. I’m originally from Ohio, but reside in Florida for the time being. Some things that help me create that I love to give access to my time are traveling, cooking, hiking and bartending.

I consider my work to be figurative, floral and poetic. By doing so, I capture the raw beauty of the human body and intertwine them with the natural beauty of the earth. My artwork is a blend of minimalism, surrealism and modern romanticism. I like to consider them pieces of a love letter, each piece in muted, earthy tones that give you a nostalgic feeling of intimacy and vulnerability.

I believe each piece tells its own story of self-expression that honors the beauty of imperfection and allows the body to be seen not only as a subject but as a landscape of yourself. I trust that each work of art will become a cherished heirloom, that is timeless, ethereal and personal to those that feel a deep sense of connection to themselves, but also to others. I hope my work helps others find themselves on a deeper level but to also recognize their beauty has been present all along.
